Pokemon Worlds 2023 (Everything You Need to Know!)

Pokémon Worlds 2023 is ready to set the stage in Yokohama, Japan!

Here is all the important information you need to know before going!

The near week-long event is from August 8th, 2023 to August 14, 2023.  

You must register before attending. Register here! A digital ticket is required for all events.

Due to the popularity of the event, all tickets are based on a raffle system*

Raffle Application Period

From 2:00 PM June 19 (Mon), 2023 Until 1:59 PM July 3 (Mon), 2023

The Pokémon World Championships will be held in Japan for the first time ever! Remember that almost every event requires a digital ticket and reservation, including the Pokémon Center Worlds store.

Opens: August 9, 2023, at PACIFICO Yokohama North from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm. (Last admission is at 7:00pm)

Last day: August 13, 2023

There will be many Pokémon events. These events include a summer festival, live shows, art, and a cruise! Pokémon events are listed as follows:

Pokémon Matsuri Park

A Pokémon Matsuri (Japanese-styled summer festival) will be held at Rinko Park in Yokohama.

You can find themes from the Pokemon Video Game series like “Magikarp Fishing” and “Poke Ball Throw.”

Magikarp Fishing

At the Yatai’s (Festival Stalls) you can grab a rod and catch yourself a Magikarp!

Poke Ball Throw

You can also throw some Poke balls and different Pokemon and try to catch ‘em all!

Dondozo’s Order Up

Aim your Tatsugiri and land it in Dondozo’s mouth!

Voltorb’s Rollout

Roll a Voltorb and hit the goal!

Stone Panel Puzzles

Solve the puzzle of the mysterious stone panels and discover the Pokémon they depict!

Prizes (How Points Work)

Throughout your activities, you will earn points.

Points are accumulated based on your accomplishments in the games. You can then exchange your points for prizes!

We Move!! (Pokémon Fantastic Live Show)

A live Pokémon show between 8:30pm and 8:55pm every from August 8th – August 14th.

There will be one show per day!

Imagination! Into the Next!! (Pokémon Fantastic Live Show)

A Pokémon live show featuring Pikachu, Lucario, Greninja, and other Pokémon are coming to liven up Yokohama’s historic Red Brick Warehouse!

August 8th (Tue) – August 14th (Mon) *Two shows per day.

1st showing: 7:15 PM – 7:30 PM
2nd showing: 8:30 PM – 8:45 PM

Pokémon Trainer Cruise

A luxury cruise ship is coming into port in Yokohama!

NIPPON MARU will be hosting events allowing Pokemon TCG and Pokemon Nintendo Switch players to gather and battle!

    August 13th (Sun) 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • NIPPON MARU
    Shinko Pier No. 9 Berth, 2-14-1 ShinkōNaka Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa
  • * The ship will remain docked during the event. No sailing will take place.
  • * For the duration of this event, the accommodation and meal service normally provided on the NIPPON MARU will be unavailable. Additionally, there are no restaurants, cafes, or other facilities that sell food and drink on the ship.
  • * No promo cards will be distributed.
